AITO Sound Setup Guide
Compatible with AITO M5/M7/M9 HarmonyOS car system models
Prerequisites

Check System Version
Go to Settings → System → Version Info. We recommend upgrading to the latest HarmonyOS version for the best experience.

Prepare USB Drive
Format USB to FAT32. AITO supports both USB-A and USB-C ports.

Steps

Copy Files to USB
Copy the downloaded WAV sound files to the USB root directory. No special folder needed.

Insert into Car USB
Insert USB into the AITO USB port (under the center console or in the armrest).

Car Settings Path 1 (Tones)
On the center screen: Settings → Sound & Display → Tones → Lock Sound, then select custom sound file.

Car Settings Path 2 (Sound Scenes)
Go to Settings → Sound Scenes, where you can set "Welcome", "Charging", "Lock Farewell" scene sounds by selecting audio files from USB. Requires newer system version.
FAQ
Make sure HarmonyOS is updated to the latest version. Custom sound paths may vary by version — try searching "Tones" or "Sound Scenes" in Settings. Some early versions may not support custom lock sounds.
Some AITO models may limit lock sounds to system presets. Try the "Sound Scenes" feature to import custom audio — this is supported in newer system versions for loading audio files from USB.
Confirm USB is FAT32 (AITO has limited exFAT compatibility). Try a different USB port. If still not recognized, reformat USB to FAT32 and retry.
💡 AITO's HarmonyOS car system varies significantly across versions. The latest "Sound Scenes" feature offers more flexible customization, supporting lock, charging, welcome and other scene sounds. If your system is older, OTA update to the latest version is recommended.
