Deepal Sound Setup Guide

Compatible with Deepal S7/SL03/S05/S07/L06 running DEEPAL OS

Prerequisites

Upgrade to DEEPAL OS 3.2+

Go to Settings → About → System Info, confirm DEEPAL OS is 3.2.0 or higher. Lower versions require OTA update, or custom lock sounds won't work.

Prepare USB Drive

Format USB to FAT32 or exFAT, any capacity works.

Download Sounds

Create Folder

Insert USB into phone/PC, create a folder named 锁车音效 in the root directory (must use Chinese name for easy finding).

Download WAV Sounds

Visit sound.jichun29.cn, download WAV sounds, copy to the 锁车音效 folder. Download multiple sounds to easily switch later.

Format Requirements

Car System Setup

Method 1: Settings Menu

Insert USB

Insert USB into the Deepal USB port (center armrest or under center console).

Car Settings

Main screen → Vehicle Settings → Sound Settings → Lock Sound → Custom, select sound file from USB.

Method 2: Personalized Sound APP (Recommended)

Open Personalized Sound

Find and open the "Personalized Sound" APP on the car desktop.

Upload from USB

Click [Upload from USB], find the 锁车音效 folder, select the sound file to use.

💡 Tip: Download multiple sounds at once to switch easily later. Deepal L06 also supports recording mode: Car Settings → Sound → Lock Sound Settings → Record, record personalized sounds directly via the car microphone.

FAQ

Confirm USB is FAT32 or exFAT. Confirm folder name is「锁车音效」(Chinese), no spaces or English names. Try restarting the car or contact Deepal support.

Confirm DEEPAL OS ≥ 3.2.0. Go to Settings → About → System Info to check. Lower versions don't support custom lock sounds and need OTA update.

Deepal only supports WAV lock sounds, not MP3. Convert MP3 to WAV first.

Deepal car system only accepts 48kHz WAV. If the file is 44.1kHz / 32kHz / 96kHz, it won't be recognized. Use our Format Converter to convert it to 48kHz WAV first.

After each OTA update you may need to re-set. Reinsert USB and select the custom sound again.
